A fearless sea captain sails a ship through loopholes in international law, providing abortions on the high seas, and leaving in her wake a network of emboldened activists who trust women to handle abortion on their own terms. 

Vessel was released in 2015, screened at over 350 festivals and community screenings, and is available across international video-on-demand platforms. Awards include the SXSW Audience Award for Documentary, SXSW Special Jury Award for Political Courage, Sheffield’s Peter Wintonick Award, the Adrienne Shelly Excellence in Filmmaking Award, a Moving Mountains Honorable Mention from Mountainfilm in Telluride, a Calgary Underground Audience Choice Honorable Mention, and the SIMA Lens to Action Jury Award.
